299 Practice when claiming indemnity

Where an entitlement to indemnity arises, the claimant should first approach the registrar by lodging a claim1 with details of the loss that it is claimed has been caused by an indemnifiable event, details of that event, how the amount of the claim has been arrived at and an explanation of how the loss has resulted from the event.
