105 Meaning of ‘a long lease’

| Commentary

For the purpose of collective enfranchisement a long lease, in general, is:

  1. 105.1

        a lease granted for a term exceeding 21 years, whether or not it is or may become terminable before the end of the term by notice, re-entry, forfeiture or otherwise1;

  2. 105.2

        a perpetually renewable lease, other than a lease by sub-demise
