33 Shared ownership leases

The right of a tenant of a house under a long lease to acquire the freehold of the house or to be granted an extended lease does not apply to certain shared ownership leases1.

The following types of shared ownership lease are excluded from the provisions of the Leasehold Reform Act 1967 Part I (Sections 1–37):

        leases granted after 11 December 1987 under the right to a shared ownership lease formerly given by the
