166 Determination of application for the grant of a personal licence

| Commentary

Section 120 of the Licensing Act 2003 applies where an application for the grant of a personal licence1 is made to a licensing authority2 in accordance with Section 117. The licensing authority must grant a personal licence if it appears that: the applicant is aged 18 or over3; that the applicant is entitled to work in the United Kingdom4; they possess a licensing qualification or is a person of a prescribed description5; no personal licence held by them has been forfeited in the period of five years ending with the day the application was made6; and they have
