192 Unaccompanied children prohibited from certain premises

| Commentary

Section 145 of the Licensing Act 2003 is the first of a number of Sections in Part 7 of the 2003 Act (ss 136–159) which create criminal offences which have clearly been formulated with one specific licensing objective in mind, the protection of children from harm1. The provisions of Section 145 apply to relevant premises2 if they are:

  1. 192.1

        used exclusively or primarily for the supply of alcohol3 for consumption on the premises4; or
