212 Closure notices for persistently selling alcohol to children

| Commentary

A relevant officer may give a ‘closure notice’ under Section 169A of the Licensing Act 20031 applying to any premises if:

  1. 212.1

        there is evidence that a person (‘the offender’) has committed an offence under Section 147A of the 2003 Act (ie the offence of persistently selling alcohol to children) in relation to those premises2;

  2. 212.2

        the relevant officer considers that the evidence is such that, if the
