Private study definition
What does Private study mean?
Copyright is not infringed in a literary, dramatic, musical or artistic work where it amounts to fair dealing for the purposes of private study.
Private study does not include any study which is directly or indirectly for a commercial purpose. It is supported by the so called librarian's privileges to enable certain copying. It has recently been proposed to extend the exception to cover all copyright works.
