5  Section 4: supplemental

(1)ÌýÌýÌýÌý Subsections (1) to [(3A) of section 4 apply to anything done in or outwith the United Kingdom].

(2)ÌýÌýÌýÌý This subsection applies to—

(a)ÌýÌýÌýÌý a British citizen,

(b)ÌýÌýÌýÌý a British overseas territories citizen,

(c)ÌýÌýÌýÌý a British National (Overseas),

(d)ÌýÌýÌýÌý a British Overseas citizen,

(e)ÌýÌýÌýÌý a person who is a British subject under the British Nationality Act 1981 (c 61), .Ìý.Ìý.

(f)ÌýÌýÌýÌý a British protected person within the meaning of that Act

[(g)ÌýÌýÌýÌý a person who at the time of the offence was habitually resident in Scotland, and

(h)ÌýÌýÌýÌý a body incorporated under the law of a part of the United Kingdom].

[(2A)ÌýÌýÌýÌý A person may be prosecuted, tried and punished for any offence to which section 4 applies—

(a)ÌýÌýÌýÌý in any sheriff
