[21F  [Notifying] designated body of report or recommendations]

[(1)     This section applies if an overview and scrutiny committee of a local authority . . ., or a sub-committee of such a committee, makes a report or recommendations under section 21(2ZA).

(2)     The committee or sub-committee may—

(a)     send a copy of the report or recommendations to a designated person, and

(b)     request the designated person to have regard to the report or recommendations.
