9  Interpretation of Part 2

In this Part—

“active substance” has the meaning given by regulation 8 of the Human Medicines Regulations 2012 (SI 2012/1916);

“appropriate authority” has the meaning given by section 2(6);

“clinical trial” has the meaning given by regulation 2(1) of the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations 2004 (SI 2004/1031);
