3.1ÌýÌýÌýÌý Minimum wage and overtime

Israel has a minimum wage, according to the Minimum Wage Law 5777-1987.

Employees are entitled to a salary that will not be less than the minimum wage introduced in the State of Israel and updated from time to time. See the current minimum wage tables below. The right to minimum wage is not a right that an employee may waive.

For an employee under the age of 18, the minimum wage must be specified in the payslip as stated under Section 16 of the Minimum Wage Law, 5777-1987, in accordance with the age of the employee. See 1.3.1 for more on payslips.

Overtime

A full-time work schedule includes 42 working hours a week, or 182 working hours per month. Any additional work hours are considered overtime.
