This October, we invite you to join our Senior Counsel session featuring Jerry Harris, a KPMG qualified Fellow Chartered Accountant. He will share his insights on the essential skills and practical tips needed to excel as a Non-Executive Director.
After ten years with KPMG, Jerry spent the remainder of his full-time career as a senior board member at major recruitment businesses, including PSD and Quarry Dougal, and served as Managing Director of Reed Employment for six years. Since 2007, he has held multiple NED and Board Adviser positions at various SMEs, including Flex Legal. Additionally, he has been a board member and adviser at four major UK legal recruiters. The panel speakers will include Sarah Pierman who is CEO of Dynamic Boards as well as Martin Gunson who has more than 30 years’ experience of property and related finance markets and who has undertaken many NED roles.

Sarah Pierman
CEO of Dynamic Boards
Sarah is a non-executive director with experience on the boards of a specialist bank, a banking software company, a home care franchise operator and a charity. After graduating from studying Maths at Oxford University, she began her career in banking and became a Director in RBS’s SME lending team age 25. She has been working in tech start-ups for the last seven years. In 2013 she won the Professional Woman of the Future award and in 2019 she was shortlisted for the Sunday Times ‘NED rising star’.
