Isabel Hitching KC is a member of the Civil Procedure Rule Committee, chaired by Birss LJ on behalf of the Master of the Rolls.  She has recently been appointed chair of the sub-committee focussing on simplifying the Civil Procedure Rules.  She is editor of Emden on Construction Law and authors the chapter on Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Ruth heads LexisPSL Energy. She has extensive regulatory and transactional experience in projects within the power, renewables and oil & gas sectors, both in the UK and internationally, and often with a project finance dimension. Her experience includes advising on electricity interconnector development projects, gas pipeline projects, power plant projects (including IPPs, wind farms and waste to energy plants), electricity trading (including on Grid Trade Master Agreements (GTMAs), and advising a power exchange on the development of standard documentations), energy M&As, energy sector privatisations, gas purchase and gas tolling agreements, and joint operations.

Ruth trained and qualified at Dentons (including a six-month stint in their Moscow office), and subsequently worked at Allen & Overy, Herbert Smith Freehills and Ashurst. Ruth joined UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥Â® in March 2020. She has written a number of articles which have been published in various publications.
Andrea is a Professional Support Lawyer at UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥, specialising in environmental law. She has a background in contaminated land and environmental insurance, and a Masters degree in waste management. She qualified in 1997 at Browne Jacobson and later worked in the Environment and Planning team at SJ Berwin, before moving in house to work as Senior Solicitor at Certa (UK) Ltd. More recently Andrea has worked as a legal consultant, completing projects for blue chip companies. Andrea is an active member of the UK Environmental Law Association.
