We are delighted to welcome Scott Christy, Senior Carbon Consultant at MyCarbon, who will talk us through the key definitions of sustainability such as what are greenhouse gas emissions, how do we measure them and what is net zero / carbon neutral. He will also go through the potential legal issues in terms of what is greenwashing, what is the advice from the ASA and will give us some examples of companies who have been called out on their adverts and how companies can avoid this.

There will also be the opportunity for questions and to share experiences with your peers under Chatham House Rules. 

Senior Carbon Consultant at MyCarbon

Scott Christy is the MyCarbon lead consultant on SBTi validated emissions reduction targets and net-zero strategies. Scott has worked with some of the UK’s largest companies on developing their emissions reductions strategies to be validated through the SBTi. Dr Scott Christy spent eight years at the University of Liverpool, completing a Master’s Degree in Chemistry, before undertaking a PhD.
